The towel rail didn't work, leaving us with wet towels!!! The creaking floorboards were a distraction and the top floor lounge felt overly humid due to an excess of plants!!!

We enjoyed two wonderful nights in a cozy double room, perfectly situated just a short stroll from Bowness Bay and the charming Old Laundry Theatre, which made our city explorations incredibly easy and fun.

Staying here was fantastic! The views over the lake are jaw-dropping, and the mini kitchen in our spacious room made our stay super comfortable. Plus, Joyce made our day with an amazing picnic basket filled with fresh goodies right at our door!

A Cozy Getaway with Scenic Walks

We loved our stay, especially the beautiful walks around the area. The steep hill to the property added an adventure to our trip, though it might be challenging for those with mobility issues. Highly recommend exploring the nearby trails for stunning views!

Had an awesome stay with breakfast that felt fresh and delicious. The room was spacious and super clean! The pool’s perfect for a morning dip, and the hot tub is a great way to unwind. The only thing was the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty, but it didn't really bother us. 😊

The views over the serene lake were absolutely breathtaking, especially from the spacious balcony of our Deluxe Double Room. Each morning started with a delightful breakfast hamper delivered right to our door, featuring fresh local goodies. Phil and Joyce made our stay so special with their warm hospitality and local recommendations that made exploring a dream!

The Deluxe Double Room with Balcony was cozy and spacious, with beautiful decor. Loved the mini kitchen too, perfect for making snacks. The view of Lake Windermere from the room was absolutely stunning! Only downside was the towel rail didn't work, so towels stayed damp. a small stain on the couch was a bit off-putting, but it didn't ruin the vibe.

The vibrant decor and cozy common areas created a welcoming ambience, making it easy for me to relax and enjoy my stay while taking in the lovely views of Lake Windermere from the spacious lounge.

I had a fantastic stay in the Double Room with Balcony, enjoying breathtaking views of Lake Windermere right from my room. The warm and inviting decor made the space feel like home, and the personalized breakfast delivery was a delightful touch that started my mornings perfectly. The outdoor seating area was a lovely spot to relax, soaking in the scenery. One small downside was that the pool could have been a bit warmer.

Charming house, friendly host, the spacious room was beautifully spotless with lovely views from the upstairs lounge and free Wi-Fi, making our stay even more enjoyable just a short 5-minute walk downhill to explore the local bustle.

Spent 3 nights here and it was just what we needed. Joyce and Phil were super friendly and really went the extra mile. The continental breakfast served in our room was awesome! The views from the lounge upstairs? Wow! Just a bit noisy in the morning with folks coming down the stairs.
